Research groups

The lab comprises five closely collaborating groups. Some projects are devoted to systematic genotypic and phenotypic analysis of RAS oncogene-induced cellular transformation.  Ras oncogene activity is of high clinical relevance, particularly in resistance toward targeted therapies. Moreover, integrated and individual projects are focussing on the molecular genetics of ovarian and colorectal cancer, tumor epigenetics, cancer stem cells and mathematical modelling of signal transduction pathways in close combination with experimental studies. The research groups closely collaborate with partners at the undefinedCharité Comprehensive Cancer Center, the undefinedInstitute for Theoretical Biology, Humboldt University, and the Max-Planck-Institute for Molecular Genetics.
